Dancing: It's the New Chain Gang.

Somehow I don't think this will catch on in the U.S., but it would be freakin' awesome if it did! (Although Ralph says this is just cruel and inhuman.)

The video below shows just one of many dances/aerobics exercises performed by prisoners in the Philippines. The purpose is to show spectators how dancing is used as a non-violent approach to rehabilitation. During the performance, posters are displayed of Martin Luther King, Jr, Gandhi, and other non-violent persons throughout history.





They also do the Hustle, the Macarena, and tributes to Michael Jackson, among others.

And of course, more Bonnie Tyler.

BTW, this is NOT an April Fool's joke. Seriously.
