This is what it looks like now:
The picture, unfortunately, is pretty horrible (it was late at night and I'd had a pretty freakin' long day) but you get the main idea.
Of course, paint and a ginormous clock made the biggest impact, but I've really enjoyed putting together a winter mantle.
I kept some snowflakes out of the Christmas bin (that I just finished filling YESTERDAY) and put them around the house, including on the mantle.
I found the printable over at madigan made. I just found her site and I love it!

Just for fun, I decided I wanted to decorate at work, too. I put up a "window" and added some more of the snowflakes and some icicles to boot.
The rag garland I had tucked in a closet somewhere so I brought it out and fluffed it up. It has grey, silver, and white fabric, so it goes perfectly with the winter theme.
