Countdown to 40 ~ 31 Days

Dear Ralph,

There are 31 more days until your 40th birthday, and this reason comes to mind often, even though you'd never be able to tell from your pictures.

Well, okay, I'm not so crazy about the one above...

I wish I could catch your real smile on camera, but I'd have to do it without you knowing. Maybe that's why I love it so much, because it's so elusive on film.

I do love that you smile and laugh often when you are with the boys, and I love watching you with them and seeing how much fun you have when you're all together.

I also love that special smile you give to me alone, like you're sharing a secret with me. Just one more thing to love about you.
