Happy Groundhog Day

Or Happy Groad Hogs Day as the case may be:

(Cake Wrecks, natch.)

(who knew?)

say it's an early end to winter. I've never understood why having a sunny day indicates more winter and a gloomy day means Spring's around the corner.

Come to think of it, I've never understood why people look to a fat rodent to predict the weather anyway. It must be because of all that snow the East gets this time of year. They go stir crazy from staying inside all day and are desperate for anyone or anything to tell them it's going to end soon.

At least it makes for a funny movie.

Hey, I just remembered that Bill Murray's been in a close encounter with a groundhog before!

Maybe those of us who don't need to worry about snow or six more weeks of winter should just start wishing each other a Happy Bill Murray day.

And to you!

I bet with all the snow you're having you're happy to hear that Phil and Chuck say it'll be over soon ;)
