Dear Pantone,

I regret to inform you that our family will not be participating in welcoming your 2011 color of the year into our home.

Honeysuckle, while a delicious-smelling delicate plant, is a color that has been banned from our household since 1991.

The inhabitants of our home have severe allergic reactions to any color resembling pink. Not only can they not come in contact with it, but it burns their retinas on sight.

And forget about eating it.

The only colors allowed into the house are black, brown, gray (and silver), blue, and white. Please see picture below for reference.

If you happen to choose any of the above colors in the future, please let me know, as I will be happy to support as well as advertise for you.

Regretfully Yours,

We are currently attempting to buy a house. We are then planning to paint the whole dang thing, as the living room is, in fact, honeysuckle. Which I have been referring to as WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE WHY WOULD YOU PAINT ANYTHING THIS HORRIBLE COLOR?
