Is that a ...? Oh my.
Okay, so Kristen at We Are THAT Family has a great carnival she puts on every week called Sincerely 'Fro Me to You. She asks people to dredge up old pictures that we somehow decided not to burn but really should have. (Click on her site to see some seriously hilarious pictures!) In her own words, these are "something that will never see the inside of a scrapbook either because it's not worthy or because you can't find your fancy crinkle cut scissors." Well, this picture isn't from my past, but I wish it was. Then maybe some of the embarrassment would have worn off by now.
Last week I was home sick from work. I was uncomfortable and couldn't sleep but was still so exhausted that I couldn't muster enough energy to eat, read, or even watch trashy TV. I was lying on the couch feeling sorry for myself when I heard Coco (our 4-month-old puppy), rummaging around in one of the boys' rooms. I yelled for her to come downstairs, and then had to close my eyes from the effort of yelling. I heard her clomp down the stairs and thought, "Good, she actually obeyed!"
Then I heard the chewing. That is never a good sound coming from a puppy that's been somewhere in the house unsupervised. I dared to open my eyes, and this is what I saw:
Yes folks, that's exactly what it looks like. For those of you who don't know what I found our dear little Coco chewing on, go ask any male who's ever been on a sports team. You may be able to get an answer out of them once they've composed themselves.
What can I say? She loves her stinky boys. I'm locking their rooms from now on when she's inside.

Toooo funny! I can see why that wouldn't be in a scrapbook with a page titled "Yummy Cup!"
We are cat people. For. That. Reason.
Thanks for playing along! So, Fun!
THAT IS HILARIOUS!!!! Thanks so much for brightening my day
Bwahahahahhaahaha I love it!
Ha!! We have a little Shih Tzu, and he likes to chew on everything too. I can't leave him unsupervised in a room either. I know the sound of unauthorized chewing anywhere. :)
You made my day!!!! :D Thanks for the laugh!!
For your daily dose of vintage goodness & a bit of silliness, stop by Confessions of an Apron Queen, the home of Vintage Thingies Thursdays.
I know just what that is!
That is too funny!! Aren't you glad for digital cameras?
ROTFL! No, I didn't need any hints! Naughty puppy!
Oh FUNNY! Does the doggie have any idea where that's been? Oh wait, I bet it has voluntarily put it's nose there a time or two so, you know, no biggie.
Enjoyed my visit with you!
Jennifer
