(Dust) Bunny It Is

For some reason, it was really hard to come up with a name for our little bundle of fur. I had suggested Bunny originally since she looks like a dust bunny that's just rolled out from under the couch. Ralph wanted the name of a killer, since we got her mainly to kill the rats in the back yard. At first I thought he meant along the lines of Manson or Gacy, neither of which sounded very feminine (or socially appropriate) to me. I suggested Mendi, short for the Menendez brothers, but that's when he told me he didn't mean that kind of killer, (thank goodness). He meant a name of a ninja in a video game or something along those lines.

I love the movie La Femme Nikita, (and let's face it, that woman kicks some serious ass), so I suggested Niki, or Josie, since her code name when she was called out on a job was Josephine.

Neither went over that well, so we came full circle to Bunny. No, not a name that strikes fear into one's heart, but totally appropriate for our manic little fluff ball.
