Maybe start on something patriotic? Like this pool noodle wreath by Fox Hollow Cottage that I originally found at Dollar Store Crafts.
Unfortunately there's also laundry to be done, rooms/animals/pool to clean, and those darn kids are expecting to eat at some point. I just fed them yesterday!
